Hisaab Barabar – Movie Review (A Common Man’s Battle Against Corruption)

Hisaab Barabar is a satirical action-comedy that explores financial corruption through the lens of an ordinary man caught in an extraordinary situation. R. Madhavan plays Radhe Mohan Sharma, a straightforward railway ticket examiner whose life is turned upside down when he discovers a minor discrepancy in his bank account. What starts as a simple accounting error quickly unravels into a massive banking scam masterminded by the cunning Micky Mehta (Neil Nitin Mukesh).

The film attempts to blend humor with social commentary, highlighting how financial institutions manipulate the common man. Madhavan shines in his role, delivering a performance that resonates with every individual who has ever felt helpless against the system. However, the execution of the story feels inconsistent, as the film wavers between serious drama and exaggerated satire. Neil Nitin Mukesh's portrayal of the antagonist, while stylish, sometimes lacks depth, making him more of a caricature than a truly menacing figure.

Visually, Hisaab Barabar presents a mix of engaging sequences and underwhelming production choices. The soundtrack fails to leave a strong impact, but the film still manages to hold attention with its intriguing premise. While the narrative could have been more refined, it successfully raises important questions about financial accountability and the power of perseverance.

Overall, Hisaab Barabar is a well-intentioned film that falls short in some aspects but still provides an engaging watch for those interested in stories of resilience against systemic corruption.
